Dream

Rock hits glass
like a nail to hammer
The tap awoke her
"Couldn't be!" she stammered

She laid back down
heart thumping hard and fast
"Is it him?" she wondered
She hoped he'd come at last

This was the boy she loved
the one she dreamed about.
"It's got to be!" she said
with a shout.

She ran to her window
and gazed down through the fog
For there he was..
all along!

Her heart was racing harder
She became nervous at his sight
Their eyes met
and she filled with delight

She crept down and rushed out
His company made her jump inside.
"Hey" he said
What a pleasent surprise.

She walked closer
Slow, carefree movement
She couldnt believe it
She smelt his scent

The scent in the hallway
everyday
He was so perfect
in everyway

She wanted him so bad
and his presence was true
"Kiss me" he said
She didnt know what to do

Rain fell slowly
She leaned into him, it was a perfect scene.
Nothing could go wrong, or be better
until she awoke.. it was all a dream.
