Vacancy

by Arkon   Aug 21, 2005

Another year, another day, another reason not to stay
Your photograph on my table, I stare at it for hours everyday

And if the sun goes down into the ground
And if I'm still here by time you hear my heart pound

As snow falls and red rains
I fall prey to my own game

And as these people pass by me one by one
And I see that they know no fear, for they see the sun

Struck down, by frozen hearts
And this is my debt to you from the start

The sky is so overcast
Watch this darkness contrast

I'll never let them, get into my soul
Turning my wound into a hole

It burns like butane on my skin
And the ignition is the heart ache you left me with

Thank you for blessing me with this curse
As I drown in the droning sound of the engine in this hearse

And as these days fade into black
I wonder why you're not back

Take this blade to my throat
And make it bleed, get it all over my coat

Someone save me soul tonight
They got me again, save me from this eternal blight

And you think this is my impending doom
But unfortuantely this is just the welcome note on your tomb

The epitaph is your inscription of death
But the saddest part is that you were the last one left

And now your emptyness stretches over the never-ending void
And to which our hearts were the ones with you toyed

But this is the end of you
This incantation spells out doom for you in 8 letters, I l o v e y o u.
