No one could ever understand why she wanted to die
No one could ever understand why they always saw her cry
But they all knew
The pain that she was going through
They just looked away and said there was nothing they could do
They said they couldn’t make her better
So one night she began writing her suicide letter
She planned on skipping school that day
She told herself this was the only way
She left the note by her bedroom door
As she got the courage and pulled the trigger, then she hit the floor
Her mom came home and found her dead
Just one bullet in her head
She left so many of her friends to cry
She left us all here to wonder why
Now we cry ourselves to sleep at night
Wondering if we can put up the fight
We look around for someone to care
But we realize we’re alone, you’re no longer there
You’re no longer here by my side
Taking away all of my reasons to hide
The only true friend I had is now gone
While everyone around me is telling me to move on
No looking back just go on with my life
