Dark clouds fill my eyes,
Fogging up my world,
Hiding the truth,
showing me lies,
leading me down false paths to test my strength,
to build my character,
gone are the days when i had no worries,
The days when i ran around all day,
and slept soundly at night,
when the hardest decision was what flavor ice cream to get,
what movie to watch,
and what color dress to wear,
Gone are the days when everyone is happy,
when the light is always bright,
and the laughter never stops,
Now things are different,
my childhood has been torn from me,
Things are darker,
People are uncertain,
people are hurt,
hearts are broken,
I am growing up in a world that is dangerous,
I am not sure of the way,
i am lost,
So draw me a map in the stars,
leading me to a peacefully place,
