I wish I may, wis I might

by Denise   Aug 22, 2005

I look to the starry sky,
I wish I may, I wish I might:
Find true love this very night.
Then you came along.
Something made it feel right.
I was happy for once in life.
You promise to never leave my side
You promised forever.
That with you things can't get better
Until that night you wrote the letter.
You left me with a broken heart,
which wasn't whole from the start.
You tore my world apart.
I decided to end this pain,
so I quickly got a blade.
Slit my wrists and throat.
This pain is nothing
compared to what you made me feel.
Maybe our love was fake,
but death is real.
Here I go into the sky,
where I made my wish that night.
I wish I may, wish I might,
never go back to the place he broke my heart.
Then again, I am where it began, from the very start.
Next to a shooting star.

*I know it wasn't good, but i really would appreciate more votes.*
