Pain

As i walk through life alone
i feel nothing but pain
my eyes swell with tears,
my heart is drained

no one understands
for i wear a mask
afraid of what people will say
i hide away

one day i break
its all too much
people see the truth
they freak and run
i promise myself to shout up and not tell them a thing

they will never again
be allowed to know what is going on
so i walk alone
the hurt inside builds up and up

the pain is unbearable
the sleepless nights
and long days
can this get worse
