Sometimes when I look up at the stars in the sky
I start thinking of you and ask myself why?
It had to take so long for us to find each other and get together
Now hopefully nothing can separate us as we are now connected forever
Through the good times and bad times there is so much history
And nights when you cannot hold me in your arms I am always wondering if you are missing me
Before I go to sleep you are the last thing I think about before I start dreaming
And I hate to even entertain the thought that one day you might be leaving
We became fast friends and have been long time lovers
With your help I realized there was a lot more to this world to discover
Almost like my fantasy has come alive in you
