Foreigner in my hometown

by MisterScabbedWings   Aug 22, 2005

Different colour skin
They want to throw me in the bin

Looking at me as if I committed a sin
Nothing I can do to win

Racists everywhere I go
Looking at me like some freak show

Stop starring at me, what you want me to do?
Pissing me off taste my shoe!

Cold looks every day I get
They're lucky that me they haven't met

Unfortunately this is true
To all racists: F... You!

I'm Austrian but my mom comes from the Philippines, so I can't do anything about the fact that I have dark hair and dark eyes and a bit of a toned skin. Almost every 2nd Austrian is a racist, nothing I'm too proud of.

Wow I agree so much. My best friend is black and it hurts so bad to hear people as in her cousins always ask "eww shes white?" or stuff like that! I agree with you this was an awesome poem!! So sorry that people have to be like that to you in your own hometown, i guess there is nothing you can do but accept it and pray that one day it be stopped!! 5...
