Who ever you may be

Lurking in the dark, all around this run down place,
Is a light flickering with hope, going at it's own pace.

Is it possible, that this is a new start for me,
Is it a new kind of love, to behold and cherish thee.

Will it wipe away thy tears, will it kiss thee in the rain,
Will it love me forever, and always keep me sane.

Or is it just a friend, looking out for me as I go on my way,
Who ever this may be, please look out for me everyday.

Sometimes I get scared, and feel so lost and cold,
I feel like I'm not loved, when all I want is someone to hold.

There are days when I feel so pretty, and nights when I feel like death,
And when I see that perfect person, he comes and steals my breath.

All I want is to be happy, I reason to be alive,
I'm not looking for "The plunge", just a nice refreshing dive.
