Try This, Please

by undying blusher   Aug 23, 2005

When you wake up in the morning
Don’t forget to face the mirror
And see what a beautiful person is placed in front of you
And try that much missed smile with those frowning lips
Who knows, maybe it will be possible today…one day it will
Just keep trying and do not cave in…keep hope…keep faith…and don’t forget to keep that chin up
When you are walking the halls don’t watch your feet
Don’t try to be invisible, even if you think you appear that way or feel you should be
Keep your head up and try to walk with a bit of confidence
You have nothing to be confident about?
That’s what you think…doesn’t matter anyway, just do what I say
And when walking those narrow, packed, yet lonely halls…and spot a kind of your own…greet him or her with a friendly face and the brightest smile you can give
Offer a hand when his books are knocked down toward his feet
Help her shut her locker and grab some books before she loses her balance
Make the invisibles not feel invisible any longer
Be someone different, someone who notices the frowning faces trying to be hidden, the ones walking alone or lonely down those treacherous halls, the ones who need a friend but are left with no one beside them
Don’t let them walk alone, ease your way in and take interest…or simply travel alongside them to make the day a little more bearable
Let each one know that someone cares, and it doesn’t have to be the way it is

All statements i completely agree with and spoken with such intergrity..... i have actually said some of these lines to my friends who needed a little help (hope you don't mind).... anyways very nicely done as ive always said "if everyone smiled by being give just one smile then everyone in the world should be smileing"
