A Happy Poem

You say to write happy
'Cus my poetry is sad
I've been trying
Though its been pretty bad

And here I go again
This time i can feel it
I can do it this time
My happy light is lit
so here it goes:

There were bunnies and ponies
And puppies and kittens
--OK...too happy? o_^ gotcha
OK really now...

This is a happy poem
Because I'm happy indeed
I'm so happy right now
The word 'happy' I don't even need

Why am i so happy
Is what you may ask
It's because I'm so in love!
I don't even need my happy mask

I know what they say
"Young love is just a game"
Don't they also say that about life?
It's all just the same

Happy poems end
In very funny ways
Sometimes clearly
Sometimes in a haze

But this one is easy
This is just how
I'll tell you straight forward
