PLaying for Keeps

by AllisonMollie   Aug 23, 2005

In this Game, You must Tame
The wild lions of your lies.
You can no longer hide them
with a present and pretty bow-ties
Because we are playing for keeps
and this game wont end for weeks.
Until the truth is told.

You have to tell me of your
friends, that weren't there
till the end
The ones who turned on your back
and lack the decency of respect.
Because that is what I want to
see behind those brown eyes
that used to tell me lies.

I will tell you of my Torcher
that I suffer in my school,
and about the tool I used
to hurt my self outside, that
I can no longer hide.
Now that's the truth in this blond
hair that you've torn threw,
and began to tare.

In this Game, You must Tame
The wild lions of your lies.
You can no longer hide them
with a present and pretty bow-ties
Because we are playing for keeps
and this game wont end for weeks.
Until the truth is reveled.

The newspaper told them
of what you condemned,
which I would have rathered
you to make my heart shatter.
So thats why I waited, for you
my dear, to tell me the truth.

My self consciousness told you
of my blues, and why i did it
to relieve my pain.
Now when it rains I feel you crying
and slowing dying on the inside,
so than again I cry to.

So in this game we were playing
for keeps, and now the game has
ended after weeks ....
