Blank Paper

by Liz   Aug 24, 2005

I sit here and look at my white sheet of paper
So empty and barren
Nothing to write about or say
I might as well stay inside today
Because I have to finish my report
But I'd rather go outside to finish my snow fort
For I'm not inspired
And I'm awfully bored
Time is being wasted staring at this blank sheet
As i wonder how my new snow boots will look on my feet
I might as well start i think to myself
But i just give up and build myself a snow elf
A week later the paper is due
How am i to finish i have no clue!!
When i come home and open my back pack
I look at the blank sheet of paper once more
And decide to build me a fire and make a good tasting smore
This does not help and i think I'm starting to slip
But if i don't hurry up and write something I'm gonna Flip
I try to think of something to write
But i just give up and have a good snow fight
This is a story to you all
It's much better when your report is before the first snowfall
