Dear Mom and Dad,

Thanks for all the times you made me cry,
Just because you had to lie.

Thanks for tearing up my heart,
Because you broke my family apart.

Thanks for making me feel so unwanted and low,
All because you wanted to leave this world, and kill me with you and I’d have to go.

Thanks for yelling at me when I cried,
Just because you wanted your heart to die.

Thanks for both of your suicide attempts when I was just ten,
All because you thought we were nothing then.

Thanks for all the heartache you gave me.
You’ve given me a taste of reality and now I see what life and love can truly be.
