Slowly but surely

As i press the knife down on my wrist crimson starts spilling out, this is it, the one, that cut that will forever end my life and make my misery go away, its been coming for a while but you wouldn't believe me.

I told you what i was going to do, what was going to happen, that i would do it, you pretended not to know but its not your fault my life has ended

I know you don't care, thought it breaks me apart inside well guess what I'm gone now so you don't need to worry.

My wrists were never bare thats why you always cared you knew something was up.

You rushed to my side when you saw me in that bed, you knew i wouldn't survive this, i simply cut too deep, cut a vein, hit an artery
bled to death...

i watched you from heaven at my funeral, the tears you cried made me wonder why... i thought you didn't care, you never seemed to notice that my life was ending..slowly but surely.
