Alone

by Marnz   Aug 24, 2005

She sat in her room all alone no one to talk to or laugh with. No company at all not even her own shadow. Dull skies with no sun, playgrounds with no kids, houses with no people, and streets with no cars, she was alone in this world there was no one or nothing around only herself and this empty room. No laughs of happy children, no yells of angry parents, no music blaring, no roaring engines, not even the sound of the wind. There was no need for police because there was no one to commit the crimes, no need for doctors and hospitals because it would only be her that would get sick and she wouldn’t care if she did, no need for shopkeepers because there was no one to buy there goods and definitely no need for parents because she was the only child left and she has looked after herself all her life. She remembers how people always talked about what it will be like when the world ends but they will never no, she is the only one that will no and she hopes that it is better than this because this is hell and she doesn’t think she would be able to survive if it was any worse.

Wow. What inspired you to write that? Really amazing. I've felt the panick that blew out at me from that poem before. Can relate 100% to the lonliness and dead feeling described. 5/5. Was amazing.
