Maybe Now You'll Notice

by xXxDarkPrincessLozxXx   Aug 25, 2005

Maybe if you see my tears,
You'll actually know I hurt,
Maybe if you see the cuts,
You won't treat me like dirt.

Hey mum watch me please,
As I fall down in tears,
Why couldn't you notice the pain,
Through every one of these years?

Hey dad watch this blood,
As it falls down like rain,
Maybe now you'll see me properly,
And maybe you'll see the pain.

Hey gurlies watch the pain,
As it come's falling down,
Maybe now you'll understand,
Why I'm always wearing a frown.

Goodbye to every one of you,
I swear this is no ones fault,
I just don't want to grow up,
And one day be an adult.

Maybe now as I wait to be found,
You'll see I longed to be free,
Maybe now as I close my eyes,
Maybe now you'll notice me.

~Its about being lost so deep within your own lies, but you except someone to notice the pain. And when they don't...well yeah~

I can relate, my father wasnt in my life as much as a dad should've been.
Its like when you talk to them, they dont realize that you need them until they notice the scars. By then, it was too late for me to need my father anymore. I just wanted to be alone in my island of solitude. I was beyond the point of talking about my problems. Sometimes people get that way. Sometimes it takes a harsh wakeup call to make them realize they should have been there in the past.
