Circle of Grief

by Mallory Vn   Aug 25, 2005

They met in times of need
They needed each others company
They thought that together
They would have it all

10 months past and everything was perfect
They were getting married
They lived together in a little house
His baby she planned to carry

But the out of the darkness came little devils from hell
keeping secrets and burning there protective love shell
he lied to her, she lied to him
both they were dying, drowning in sin

and then before she knew it he was gone
with a 2 word note left on the table
"I'm sorry" is all it read, this poor lonely woman wasn't stable

He moved away, and at night she would cry
keeping the colt to her head she would pray to die
but as she cocked the weapon she was sure she would bleed
but was upset to sacrifice the thing in her stomach in which they conceived

one big breath, she got to her knees
two big sighs she let out a desperate cry..
and with that 3rd breath, she pulled the trigger
this poor lonely woman, fell to her death

a puddle of blood formed on the floor
a sad blue aura of the melancholy she wore
her baby and herself were dead,
her fiance and her would never be wed

2 days later he came back to their place
He only had her photo he longed to touch her face
Then he remembered under his bed the gun he once kept
And found his love lying there, covered in blood, with love he wept

so he too dropped to his knees
and began to plead for forgiveness from above, such a sorry man began to grieve
he picked up the colt and stuck it to his head
he said "i love you" and a long, silent minute later he to

...was dead
