A liar

I can't believe you
Why did you have to lie?
what did you want to prove to me?
You're someone I don't recognize now
Hidden in the lies there was a person underneath the deceit
I never got to know that person
There was no need for the lies
You made me feel that you were this amazing person
But if I lay drowning in my own blood, you wouldn't be able to save me
You made out that you hated people that lie
How could I be so naive to believe you?
You mislead me
But you won't fool me anymore
I now know the person that you are
