How can i go on?

How can I cry,
when there are no more tears in my eyes?
How can I know,
how my future will look?
When you tore out the pages
of my hearts love book.
How can I once again,
try to begin anew.
Knowing of the broken promises
of the life I had with you.
I know time will mend,
and the tears will slow.
But the pain will be forever
burned deep into my soul.
