The Comfort of Darkness

by Eric McGlaughlin   Aug 25, 2005

Sadness,pain,anger,sorrow
such is what the heart beats holllove, pity, happiness it beats,
and so the eyes refuse to meet.
Worrying behind the soul-less eyes,
the pathetic soul slowly dies.
The comfort of darkness is always here,
so long as you don't mind your fear.
Darkness consumes all of your mind,
but if you look hard enough you'll find
that you will never be alone.
cuz I'll be with you with eyes so cold.
If you don't uderstand my meaning,
I'll be yours forever kneeling.
when you cry I die,
when you smile I fly.
I'd rather burn in a thousand hells,
look into my eyes! I know you can tell!
I love you and I always will, and I'll pay the price until,
I can finally stand no longer,
My final wish is so much stronger.
So please grant me my desire,
give me your pain and cast me into the fire.
