Its So Sad...(children)

by JJ   Aug 25, 2005

Drowned in a bath tub
a boy robbed of his life
all he craved was love...

Love from the heart of anyone
that's what every child deserves
a little mercy from someone

Brought into this world
against her will
a helpless little girl

Smothered to death
dumped in a trash can
her poor soul is laid to rest

Everyday a child pays the price
somebody else's mistake
compensated with their life

Parents who don't give a care
innocent lives are made to suffer
it just isn't fair...

Let us all be the voice
of children brought into this world
left with no choice

*I can't understand how some people can be so heartlessly cruel. Children didn't ask to come here... and they deserve far better

This is such a powerful piece. Your words echo my very thoughts. Being from Oklahoma, I remember the Precious Doe case vividly! I honestly don't understand people, if we can even call them that!
As I said the poem is beautifully written with a very strong message! Keep it up~Holly
