I agree 100% it isn't the child's choice but yet it's them that is made to pay the price. i don't see how people can be so heartless and mean. wonderful message through the poem more people should certainly read it. wonderful job.

Children didn't ask to come here... and they deserve far better

^ that right there made me cry because if you ask my friends and family, I say that all the time! Those exact words. Everyday you see another child kidnapped, or raped, or abused, not even just children older people these days too! I hate because your right, they didn't ask to come here and if the parents aren't going to take responsibility to take care of them and let them be heard the way they should, then don't have a baby you know? I loved this poem and it is so true!!!! I have to give you a five, because it was written very well, and because i agree so much! Terrific job! Bravo!

WOW. this poem almost made me cry. its so sad. i agree parents shouldnt do that. if they didnt want the child they could have gave him/her a better home.

This is such a powerful piece. Your words echo my very thoughts. Being from Oklahoma, I remember the Precious Doe case vividly! I honestly don't understand people, if we can even call them that!
