I was once so lost and alone
I couldn't seem to find my way home
I had fallen down, and couldn't get up
There was no ladder out of this hole I had dug
I didn't think I could make it through
Then I looked up, and I saw you
You reached out your hand to me
Showed me the light that I couldn't see
You helped me up and back to my feet
And showed me how life was meant to be
You held me when I needed to cry
Then told me everything would be alright
It's because of you I am here right now
Fighting on my own, I just wouldn't know how
So thank you all who helped me out
And for those who stay when I have my doubts
Now I know how life should be
So thank you, my family for saving me
