Do you know the feeling?

by Samantha   Aug 26, 2005

For those of you who don't know it, it will consume you. You will live in the largest of the cuts.
The scars they feed your broken pride and turn your pain to dust.
Pain is nothing,
except when it's inside,
but, I could take it all away with one little crimson tide.
Five minutes with the scissors and all the pain is gone,
and then, only to hide them, at least until the dawn.
They sit there when your happy,
making you so proud,
of how mature they made you,
and how they've turned you out.
I lasted so long with screaming,
letting it all out,
but, then suddenly one day I forgot to shout.
It all came back so easy,
my skin seems softer now,
they slide in like their greasy,
but, it just won't come out,
the blood feels new but colder,
than ever was before,
but, it won't help me heal the pain,
my heart has shut the door,
so now I must cut deeper,
I have to get it out,
I have to open up old wounds and give my hate a spout.
