Bleeding Her Words

by Fighter (Ariane L.)   Aug 26, 2005

Sitting in her room, she writes her feelings away.
Incapable of speaking of the pain she feels,
She bleeds it with words she cannot say.
Haunted by fear, she sits alone in her room.

Wanting to forget, wanting desperately to forgive.
Each night, she cries herself to sleep, weeping.
For she thinks that everything is always her fault.
For she thinks that she is the one to blame.

Innocent beyond her belief, she continues to write.
Unable to forget the poisonous words sent her way,
She cries in the night, her silent pleas unheard.
Her tears reveal the bruises hidden beneath the makeup.

Suffering in silence, she bleeds her words.
Emotionally bruised, broken beyond fixing.
Believing all the lies that have been spat at her.
Blaming herself, she writes her feeling away.
