Distant Love

by MaX~   Aug 26, 2005

Even though my love is miles away
She still calls me up and has something to say,
Something that is old but oh so new,
She says, “I love you!”

I can picture her beautiful face
In front of my blinded eyes
I can tie her untied shoelace
Without saying a why
I can open a world of undeniable love
Without even looking
White dove,
Is what she’s cooking

I can smell her smooth silky hair
That lovely coconut smell,
That only I can stand to bare,
That only I can tell

Our souls still intertwine in the air
In my heart I hope she can see
That I really do care
And I will love her for eternity.
