I try not to cry,
you tell me that you love me,
but it isn't worth the try.
You smile and go your way,
I stand there alone
while you make plans with friends,
chatting on the phone.

then you answer another text,
go out tomorrow night,
OK, you guess, what the heck.
Plans we make together
all fall slowly apart.

Cant you hear the screaming of my heart?

what do you want to hear?
That Id gladly let you go,
forget about this past year.
I hear you laughing on the phone,
but there ain't no laughing out here,
all I feel is pain and heartaches,
and sorrow filled with tears.

I just don't know what to say..
I only know what is true,,
In my heart no matter what,
I will always love you.
