I could never find the words
because I wanted something perfect
I wrote about a million poems
if I ever achieve my goal.. it will be worth it
but for now this one will stand in
because in life not everything goes your way
but it did for me, about..
a month ago today
I wake up every morning
praying it wasn't just a dream
but then I see or hear from you
for once, everything is what it seems
I never believed in love at first sight
and for once you proved me wrong
used to think it was just a fantasy
and I know it hasn't been that long
but from what you make me feel
I'm sure there's so much ahead of us
after 1 month I still get those butterflies
and you still find ways to make me blush
so I wanted something perfect
I feel like I can do no wrong
whether good or bad this poem
we still have our song ;-) lo
