Water Blood

by k i k i   Aug 27, 2005

Under pressure, tape wearing thin.
Membrane of skin, broken with one slit.
Blood hastening, gushing to the ground,
Tears clotting, running down my face.
Clothes ripped, I’m nothing anymore,
Poor with no home, all only.

Blade rusted, infection scabbing,
With all of my fears ending.
Popping pills to forsake my elders,
I need some help, please.
Red platelets finding a new home,
On the beds of the sand where I lay.

Water swimming to the edge of me,
Taking away the fear and blood.
Bed of seaweed holds my head softly,
Scars left, spiders crawl.
Pigments of me, going out to sea,
Away from me, I don’t want to cry.
