Silence

by Kogila Kanni   Aug 27, 2005

Silence
Indeed a hidden beauty

Tender arm of a mother,
Lying soft on Little’s cheek,
Smooth taps on Little’s chest.
Soft lullaby as she sings,
Filled every space in Little’s heart
Watching close as Little falls asleep…
Yet silence it is.

Such a peaceful sleep
That Little got up with a smile
With eyes wide opened…
As bright morning sun welcomed Little quietly.
There was nothing but Little’s Mother’s melodious lullaby
Which soother Little’s heart with love
In the beauty of silence.
