Love and Hate

by Keanna Hopkins   Nov 20, 2003

I love the way your smile,
Gives me butterflies.
I love it when you stare,
Just holding my eyes.

I love it when you say,
What you think of me.
And when we’re surrounded,
You sneak a wink at me.

I love how when we’re close,
I loose track of time.
I love the way your touch,
Sends shivers down my spine.

I love how your presence,
Brightens up my day.
But every moment’s spent wondering,
Do you feel this way?

I hate our situation,
And not knowing if you adore me.
I hate it when we fight.
I hate when you ignore me.

And when I see you with,
Other girls flirting.
No matter how I act,
My inner soul is hurting.

I hate it when you flirt,
Your words I believe.
But, I hate your loving words
And how they all deceive.

I hate how you bring tears,
Leaving me confused.
I hate how the end of day,
Leaves me feeling used.
