My bedroom is my home

by Amanda   Aug 28, 2005

This is my bedroom,
My own four walls,
My own private space,
No late night calls,

No one to hurt me,
The privacy feels great,
No sense of hassle,
No one to hate,

I listen to music,
I fall on my bed,
Good chance to think,
And sort out my head,

Alone is not bad,
Here it’s so sweet,
A room full of quiet,
Only my tapping of feet,

The warmth is so good,
The love is so true,
No one to tell me,
What I should do,

I feel so safe here,
Because it is mine,
No one to criticize,
I’m doing just fine,

This is my bedroom,
My own private place,
I close my eyes,
And drift into space!

I quite like this one. I was deep in thought about how safe my room makes me feel. Sorry it's so random!

    Amanda,
Even myself at age 46 still loves the privacy of my bedroom. It's my little getaway too. Great job.

    hugs, love, Ann
