A lovers fate cast by the stars
their hopes and dreams so near yet so far
they found each other in an unusual way
thought they were meant to be
or they wouldn't have met this way
but the truth always comes to light
hidden secrets buried in the night
for theirs was a love never meant to be
heartbreaks and fights
became their life
he told her they would always last
