Teenagers

by AngelWithin   Aug 28, 2005

Yes we yell
We can scream and shout
And that's what these years are all about.

The hormones, the music
The love and the lust
Boys have testosterone
And girls develop a bust

So yes were complicated
We have hormones all over the place
Plus we have to put up with these zits all over our face.

We have loud music
We like to laze about,
Parents,
do you really have to scream and shout?

You've been through these
troublesome years
You've coped, through tantrums and tears.

So give us a break,
Cut us some slack
How much can one teenager take?

Some drink, some smoke
But not all
So what if we spend
five hours on a phone call

You want us to communicate
And thats what we do
Just to our friends though
Not to you...

But we love you really,
deep down inside
It's just a feeling,
we'd prefer to hide.
