The end and after

by Roulin   Aug 28, 2005

Blood pounds faster in my bulging veins,
I'm bound to my death in tight silver chains,
I know that soon I must draw my last breath,
Then take my repose in eternal death.

I gasp for breath, once, twice and once again,
Knowing it shouldn't end there and then,
I take my last breath and look up at the sky,
My head hangs heavy and my soul starts to fly.

Perhaps it's a dream, perhaps it's a wonder,
bt although I am dead I can hear people ponder,
I can see my own funeral but nobodies there,
Causing me to wonder does anyone care?

I can sense in the world that the air is flatter,
I can hear some old friends about me chatter,
One said 'we all said how we loved and knew her,
but could anyone really know or understand her?'

Well, I hope this wont come true, if you did die of course people would be at your funeral, I would make a loooong speech to bore your arse off in hell, ;), very good poem, the flow was perfect and I enjoyed it though it did frighten me a little, well done and dont you dare make it true
