May to December

by Stephen Levant   Aug 29, 2005

Sunrise and sunset is May to December. Autumn leaves fallen, and yet, to experience, remembered. Your heart pursues this love and makes itself plain. Song of Solomon your heart does feign. Spying ladies' flowing tresses...youth is remembered. You are drawn to this youth as ardor is engendered. You offer candlelight and moonlight dances. Her heart doubts such a meeting as it reflects on your chances. Such a long road it is twixt May and December. Your heart is pleased as first love it remembers. If it could again but touch that hand, all would be more sane. Your wish is a part of the waiting game.
