A response to a lovers disease

by Scaito   Aug 29, 2005

As we had left
We both knew
How much I would miss you

You try to hide your sadness with a smile
but i know all the while
You don't see it, but it hurts my heart
When we part

With the distance between us
We both distress
but we know, I will be back
as if I had never left

At the airport,
I feel your sobs
My heart lurches,
because I never want to leave you

I can not wait until i return
to have you in my arms again
to hold you, to kiss you...

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder"

If my heart grew any fonder of you, I'm not sure there would be room to love anything else.
