Morning

by Nathan   Aug 29, 2005

The chirpsof birds
In the trees of the morn
And yellow flocks of corn

The beautiful sunrise
In the sky above
These pretty white birds
Also known as doves

The glow of the moon
As it slowly fades away
the shine of the sun
As it smiles everyday

The smell of bacon
As its fresh on the griddle
The sound of the fire
Burning right down the middle

But there is one thing
Greatest of all you see
Is how great this morning
Is about to be

I enjoyed this. I liked the imagery you created. "The smell of bacon
As its fresh on the griddle
    The sound of the fire
Burning right down the middle..." I could actually envision it. Nice job:) Oh, but you need to put a space between "chirpsof" in the first line.
