***distant love***

**i wrote this poem for my boyfriend .....just after he moved to America **

you said you loved me
i believed it was true
cause you gave me this feeling
... i didn't know what to do

the feeling of happiness
this feeling made me smile
my life was worth living,,,
if only for awhile

lost in my own world
throughout every single day
i got lost in your eyes
i let everything slip away..

..how was i to know
this was soon to end
my heart was shattered
never will it mend

your not with me anymore
living thousands of miles away
i cried rivers for you to be here
oh how i wanted you to stay

what i wouldn't give
just to be in your arms
for you to hold me so tight
to keep me from harm

I'm counting down the days
until our eyes meet once more
i have one thing to say to you
"ill love you forever more"
