Waterless tears

All day it felt like tears were falling down my face
Yet when I reached my hand up to wipe the tears away, my hand left dry
It feels as though there is water there, by the corner of my eye,
And never was there any salty moisture...not a trace...not a sign
My tears were dry, literally, but I felt them
I felt their moisture. I felt their misery. I felt their agony.
I felt their sting. I felt their loneliness. I felt their longing.
I felt their fear as it was no place nor the time to cry
Perhaps this feeling will leave me...over time

    Another good piece, those tears can feel so real and you are so convinced they are there, then there is nothing, I know the feeling, you described the feeling very well I think, the format and structure of the poem was good and the flow wasn't disrupted anywhere which kept me interested in reading the next line, good poem, well done to you...
