For Too Long

by EpithetPoet   Aug 30, 2005

For too long you have stared down smiling as you rip out my heart
For too long you have pranced across the crimson fields you start
For too long you have jealously confided in your sinister better half
For too long have you betrayed your genial daffodil laden path
For too long you have dined upon my bitter melancholy tears
For too long have you bathed in the joy of all my hidden fears
For too long you have controlled my sorrowful memories of past
For too long you have made my euphoric memories into ash

I will not be controlled any longer
By people i do not choose to hate
And while i wish for friendship again
It seems utter loathing is our fate

*I never wanted this you guys, cause for some reason i still love you guys with all my heart. But Xavier, Nicholas, I wash my hands of you*

The time between comments is deadly, i tell you, I am extremely sorry for my lack of attendance on this site thus i aren't able to comment as frequently anymore. However, This piece has a somber story line, but behind that i see somebody intent on moving on with their life.

    Love always girl,

Its a great piece. It doesnt need my usual exposition; But the lasting beauty of anger in this ... mmm ... what an utterly delicate taste of fluffiness on the lips of the soul.

A good piece ... I look forward to catching up with all of the pieces I have not been present to comment on.

    Blessings,
