Stay away from the freshmans

(A year passed... I am finally freshman! and my older friends are finally sophomores!)

All that I gave you,
My friendship and care
YOU THREW IT ALL AWAY.
It's left there all to decay.

I was your friend,
But can't you see?
It was all right at first,
You were so kind, you cared for me.

Then next moment you had to cuss and lie.
You're acting like a little kid and making all these tattletales.
Then you have to just blame it all on me.
Get in my shoes, so you can actually see.

You're a SOPHOMORE
I am a teeny freshman!
But you're more stuck-up and fresh,
I'm more mature, way "more" than you!

So don't try getting in my way,
And I won't get in yours.
If you think you can boss around just because I'm a "freshman,"
Because when I get fired up,
You'll regret, so think again.

Just gimme space, gimme room
Stay away from me a couple of spaces
Move away a little to the left,
Right there is where you shall stay.
All we need to do is stay away...

    Freshman...I remember it like yesterday...hah

    The day will come and you will no longer be a "teeny freshman" but a little higher on top...then you get to push around all the freshmans that are below you (that's the way it works, not saying I'm like that).

    Good work, cass. May I call you cass? Anyway, I like how you didn't keep it all rhyming so it wasn't forced. And I'm sure there are many that can relate to what you're saying.

    "All we need to do is stay away..."

    At first I didn't like the ending (last line) so much...it didn't seem powerful enough or just...I don't know. But then I imagine it being read in front of a crowd of people, and the final words whispered..."stay away... stay away" I think repeating those two words makes it a little more effective, but that's just me *shrugs*

    Keep strong, agressive (but not too much)...and you'll be fine ;) Helps having older friends in high school...
