I hear them each and every night before I go to bed.
“You’re Amazing†you say,
Those two simple words are what get me through the day.
You love me and I love you.
So simple it seems, yet so true.
People often say…“You’re too young to feel this wayâ€,
I don’t care what they have to say,
For my hear sings and leaps with Joy and Glee.
I couldn’t just let this feeling be.
At first I denied and tried to make it hide
But it was plain to see,
For every person except you and me.
When I finally gave in relief I felt,
For you didn’t run away,
You too let those words make it a very special day.
For that I am glad as you can see,
