Don't Look Up To Me.

Deep within your eyes,
I see the pain that go through,
I can't believe you survived so long,
For your strength i admire you.

You're living like there's nothing wrong,
But really you're going through hell.
No ones else can see you're hurt,
Only i can tell.

Everyday you wake up,
Try to hide the marks and scars.
But i know that every night,
You hurt below the stars.

I know exactly what you want,
You long to be free.
I can't understand for a minute,
Why you look to me.

You've been through so much more,
I know you're stronger too.
And for all of your pain,
This is why i look to you.

Why do you think I'm stronger,
Just because i carry on?
There are days i want to die to,
But inside i know thats wrong.

Because i know i need to be here,
To help others see whats true.
Is that God put you here for a reason,
A task for only you.

This is mine i believe,
And so i do my work.
I try to help my friends along,
Try to end the hurt.

So please don't look up to me,
For being who i must.
It's you who should be looked up too,
Someone to make a fuss.

Because you are still here,
Even though you don't want to be.
So i shall carry on looking up to you,
Please don't look up to me.
