Love in blossom...

I'm lying on a bed half asleep
dozing in the sunshine with you beside me
holding me tight you keep me safe
protecting me from myself.

smiling because I'm actually happy
this laughter isn't fake
a light that now shines inside me
a candle flame thats burning bright

sweet music in my ears
your lips so soft as they touch my cheek
the heat flowing from each other,
the chemistry flowing within our blood streams.

The last thing i think of as i close my eyes to sleep,
the first thing when i wake,
the loving comfort within your arms
my head rested upon your shoulders warmth.

as time flows, the love blossoms,
like a bud turning into a rose
a new beginning, a new life, a new hope,
a love so pure, that life feels real for once.

a squishy feeling in my stomach
as butterflies rise and sore
my heart skips a million beats
as you tilt your head closer and pull me near...
