I just Want you to know...

It was 3 O'Clock Am,
And she was asleep in her bed.
Her little pink phone,
Was lying by her bed.

Soon it started ringing,
And woke her from her slumber.
She quickly grabbed the phone,
And answered with a "hello?"

The voice on the other end,
replied with. "Everything is fine.
I just wanted you to know."
The voice paused, then continued.

"Through the times of pain,
And through the times of joy.
I just wanted you to know.
That i promise I Do care."

When the voice had finished,
She knew who it was.
But before she could say anything,
He had already hung up the phone.

She sat for a few minutes,
Before she got her thoughts straight.
So she picked up her phone,
And called him back.

He answered the phone with a "hello"
The girl replied. "Everything's just fine,
I just wanted you to know."
She paused for a moment, then continued.

"Throughout the many years I've known you.
I have never really said thank you.
So I want to take the time now,
To thank you for being there."

"though we have had a few problems,
Since we have been friends.
But i just wanted you to know,
I'll be there till the end."

Before he could reply,
She had already hung up the phone.
And they both layed back down that night,
And slowly prayed for them to be alright.
