Love is something that i had,
love is something that can make you mad,
love is something we all find,
love is something so precious and kind,

i remember our late night talks,
telling you about a moonlight walk,
seeing you name come on line,
my heart would chime,

wanting to see you
just us two
to hold you next to me,
i feel as if we was meant to be,

one silly night i had a little to drink,
this made me think,
i said some things i shouldn't have said, this was a mistake,
but hearing you voice made me as light as a flake,

i remember the sweet things you said,
you always seemed to be in my head,
i cant describe how much i loved you,
i wanted just to be with you,

everytime i saw your name i would smile,
i just wish you was within a mile,
i wanted to hear you laugh,
see you look at me, while walking down my path,

i went for so long, only thinking you and i,
feeling so light, like i could fly,
i haven't felt the way i did for anyone else i know,
but after it was over i felt so low,

and what it meant,
but there was one certain line,
which reminds me you was once mine,

we was so supposed to smile, later have a kiss,

but remember i this love we had was true,

because deep down Ive never felt a love so true,
