Ignition....liftoff. the rockets red glare, as Columbia takes to the sky, we look up ans stare. The mission successful time to go home, all packed up, ready to go, look at those tiles, how brightly they glow. And then it happened, can't tell you why. Columbia's not coming home, those words made us cry. These 6 were hero's they followed their dreams. no regrets for their duty, for this patriotic team. They dared the impossible reached for the sky. they saw God's creation, with all-wondering eyes. And then on re-entry, their time at the end. they were found in the presence of other fallen friends. The crew of the Challenger to show them the way, and the rest of the hero's who's life had their day. So wipe away your tears, they danced among stars put away your fears, their dreams achieved by far. yes, they stepped out where only angels have trod. and now they reach out and touch the creator...God.this was written a while ago...Feb2,2003 as my tribute. I found it again and hope you like it...
