Day by day,
Week by week,
Month by month,
It gets harder to speak.

I think of that lonely cold night,
Were we spent with each other,
Hiding and running from faces,
Denying what we did with one another.

You have moved on,
But I’m left with the scar of that night,
I tell everyone I have forgotten,
Because I have lost you out of my sight.

If I could change that night,
I would have changed two things,
And I would have made sure they happened,
Now I feel like I’m an angel with no wings.

People bring your name up,
And I say I’m over you,
But I’m not; I use others to hide from your name,
But least I know nothing will happen between us two.

But honestly, how do I get over someone like you?
With eyes that makes my heart shiver,
With a smile that lights up my soul,
And a body that makes me quiver.

Your hands are like magic,
Even though I hardly know you,
I felt like I was at home,
I was like love but no where near, true?
